Find your fit.
The most accurate way to choose a belt is to measure a belt you already wear comfortably. Do not rely only on trouser or denim size, because fit can vary by rise, styling and how you plan to wear the belt.
Method 1 — Measure a belt you own
- Lay the belt flat without stretching it.
- For a traditional buckle, measure from the buckle pin to the hole you use most often.
- Compare that measurement with the size information on the product page.
- Choose the option that places your measurement close to the middle of the adjustment range whenever possible.
Method 2 — Measure your body
- Put on the trousers or layers you expect to wear with the belt.
- Thread a soft measuring tape through the belt loops, or around the exact position where the belt will sit.
- Keep the tape comfortably close to the body without pulling it tight.
- Use that measurement against the product-specific size information.
How KERVELAN sizing works
Different belt constructions can fit differently. Traditional buckle belts, thin wrap styles and sculptural hardware styles do not always measure the same way, so the measurements shown on each individual product page take priority over general guidance.
| What to use | Best for |
|---|---|
| An existing belt | The most reliable everyday reference |
| Your body measurement | New styling positions or over-layer wear |
| Product-page measurements | The final size decision for each specific style |
Between sizes?
Choose the longer option if you prefer a more relaxed fit, expect to wear the belt over layers, or want more tail after fastening. For a cleaner, closer fit, use the product measurements to stay nearer the center of the adjustment range.
If a product uses a non-traditional closure, follow the measurements and fit notes on that product page.
