KERVELAN stands behind the materials and craftsmanship of our products.
KERVELAN products are covered by our Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty against defects in materials or workmanship that occur during normal and intended use.
For purposes of this warranty, “lifetime” means for as long as the original purchaser owns the product. It does not mean that a product is expected to remain unchanged indefinitely, and it does not cover normal wear and tear.
What Is Covered
Examples of issues that may qualify for warranty coverage include:
- structural material failure caused by a manufacturing defect;
- stitching that fails prematurely because of workmanship;
- rivets, buckles, fasteners, or other hardware that fail because of a manufacturing defect; and
- other defects in materials or construction confirmed by KERVELAN.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, natural leather patina, normal creasing, surface scratches or scuffs, gradual color variation or fading, wear to hardware finishes, stains, water damage, exposure to excessive heat or chemicals, improper storage or care, accidental damage, misuse, abuse, intentional damage, unauthorized repairs or alterations, additional holes, shortening, changes in personal sizing, loss, or theft.
Natural variations in leather grain, texture, markings, color, and the way genuine leather develops character over time are not considered manufacturing defects.
Making a Warranty Claim
To request warranty service, contact KERVELAN through our Contact page and provide your order information, photographs or video clearly showing the issue, and a brief description of what happened. Proof of purchase may be required.
Please do not return a product for warranty inspection unless instructed to do so by KERVELAN.
Warranty Resolution
If KERVELAN confirms that an issue is covered by this warranty, we will determine the appropriate remedy based on the nature of the defect and product availability.
The remedy may include repair, replacement of the affected component, replacement of the product, replacement with a comparable product if the original is unavailable, or another appropriate remedy.
KERVELAN will cover reasonable shipping costs required to complete an approved warranty claim.
Who Is Covered
This warranty applies to the original purchaser. An original gift recipient may also submit a claim when valid proof of the original purchase is available. The warranty is otherwise non-transferable.
This Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty is provided in addition to, and does not limit, any rights or remedies available under applicable consumer law.
